Honey Bees are about a half-inch long, and have orange and black stripes and many yellowish hairs. They have poisonous stingers that they jab at enemies. Bees live in colonies with a queen that lays eggs and thousands of female worker bees. There are only a few males. Bees carry pollen from flower to flower, helping plants to reproduce. They also make honey from flower nectar. Honeybees live in hives, where the honey is stored and where the larvae live. This Life Cycle of the Honeybee is 165 x 80 x 25 mm- 150g.
